TikTok Ban Approved by Congress in U.S. House Vote

The United States House of Representatives has voted 352 to 52 in favor to ban TikTok. The bill still needs to be approved by the Senate. If the bill is passed by the senate and signed by President Biden, TikTok’s owner ByteDance will have five months to sell the company. After that, companies like Apple and Google will no longer be allowed to have the app in their stores.
