A third man was arrested and indicted for the murder of Memphis rapper Young Dolph. Hernandez Govan has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
Shelby County District Attorney Steve Mulroy told FOX13 News that Govan is the one who solicited the murder, hiring Justin Johnson, aka Straight Dropp, and Cornelius Smith to kill the Memphis rapper. Young Dolph was murdered in broad daylight at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies almost a year ago on November 17, 2021.
Govan’s daughter, Lotta Cash Desto was shot to death in Houston, Texas in September of this year. She was signed to Lil Uzi Vert.
