SOLEKINGS is a premium, scripted narrative following the lives of five
entrepreneurial sneaker enthusiasts, as they hustle their way through the world of
sneaker culture, while trying to define who they are and make a name for
themselves in the city’s competitive sneaker game.
In episode 1 Darren (NaShawn Kearse) returns to Brooklyn with his wife Cassandra (Brianna Seagraves), where he has decided to open up a sneaker store, Woodstack. Trey (Julito McCullum), Darren’s younger brother, is a sneakerhead whose hobby has him in hot water with his girlfriend who wants him to save his money. Trey attempts to sell sneakers to a stranger and gets robbed.
