With the COVID-19 pandemic swarming the nation most businesses were forced to close indefinitely and adapt to “social distancing.” The NBA season has been suspended, the MLB season has been suspended, and even the 2020 Olympic Summer Games in Japan has been postponed until next year. The world famous Roots Crew decided to postpone the 2020 summer tradition known as the Roots Picnic for Saturday August 1st.
The original date was slated for Saturday May 31st, but instead of issuing refunds they’re hoping this virus is maintained or even gone completely by then. If not who knows.
