Nate Parker’s ‘American Skin’ Aims For MLK Day Release

2020 has been a crazy year. From deaths linking to COVID-19 to murder by the hands of the Police sworn to protect us. This movie is a must see! You might know Nate Parker from his movie The Birth of A Nation which led a country wide smear campaign to get people not to watch a movie about Nat Turner revolting against his master. This go round it’s the people who are using street justice to get the justice they deserve in Nate Parker’s ‘American Skin’.

Nate Parker (The Birth Of A Nation), Omari Hardwick (Kick-Ass), Theo Rossi (Luke Cage), Beau Knapp (Seven Seconds) star in the film and executive produced by Spike Lee.

After witnessing his 14 year-old son’s murder by a white police officer who goes uncharged, Marine veteran Lincoln ‘Linc’ Jefferson takes matters into his own hands in a series of events he hopes will finally lead to justice for his son.

American Skin is scheduled to release on Martin Luther King Jr. day 2021.
