The Los Angeles Lakers are the 2019-20 NBA Champions! It was a lot this year! From Commissioner Sterns untimely passing to Kobe Bryant’s tragic death along with his daughter Gigi and 7 other passengers. The coronavirus pandemic leading to uncharted circumstances. The NBA bubble. The Lakers battled the Blazers Dame and CJ, Rockets with the two MVP’s Harden and Westbrook and then they battled the young Denver Nuggets duo of Jamal Murray and the Joker! They still got it done in 5 games! The Lakers were again tested by the red hot Miami Heat! It took 6 games, but they got it done!
The Lakers franchise are now tied with their rivals the Boston Celtics with the most NBA Championships at 17. I don’t know when next season starts, but i do know the NBA Draft is November 15th! Lakers Nation! Let’s celebrate! WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
