On April 11 then Officer Kim Potter shot and killed 20 year old Daunte Wright when she mistook her service weapon for her taser. A Minneapolis jury convicted former police officer Kim Potter today on 1st and 2nd degree manslaughter charges.
Potter faces a maximum of 15 years behind bars.
