Hip-Hop legend David Jolicoeur also known as Trugoy the Dove, Plug 2 and Dave of rap trio De La Soul passed away on Sunday. He was 54 years of age.

De La Soul’s first album “3 Feet High and Rising” debuted in 1989. Some may say the golden era of hip-hop. The Long Island, NY collective went on to release 9 studio albums.
