Cleveland Browns QB Deshaun Watson Suspended 6 Games

Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been suspended for the first 6 games of this upcoming NFL season.

Back in March 2021, 25 civil lawsuits have been filed against Watson. Accusing him of inappropriate behavior and sexual assault during massage sessions. 1 of the 25 lawsuits was dropped. The judge ruled the petition had to be amended with the plaintiff’s name. Watson and 20 of the other plaintiffs agreed to settle their lawsuits in late June.

Watson also signed a $230 million guaranteed contract this off-season. He will lose about 345,000 in game checks this season if the 6 game suspension upholds.
