Antonio Brown Leaves Game In 3rd Quarter; No longer On Team

Yesterday while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were down 24-10 against The New York Jets, a heated exchange between wide receiver Antonio Brown and Head Coach Bruce Arians resulted in Antonio Brown stripping himself of his team jersey, pads, gloves and exited the arena.

Rumors are swirling that the coach took Antonio which resulted him maybe not being able to get a trio of performance bonuses. He was eight catches, 55 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown away from adding $333,333 (for each) to his salary. There was also a $250,000 playoff bonus. Bruce Arians said he didn’t “bench” him and asked him to back in. Reports are also saying Antonio said his ankle wasn’t 100% and Bruce said if he’s not going to go back in he should leave. So Antonio left.

I’m not an expert on mental issues so i am not going to call AB crazy. What i will say is i’m not going to jump tp conclusions. Everyone called him a distraction in Pittsburg but never accused Big Ben of being a distraction with multiple rape allegations while they played together. AB said Jon Gruden was a racist and nobody believed him. Now look how that turned out. He also left New England and then shortly after Tom Brady left and recruited him to the Buccs. Maybe AB isn’t the problem. Maybe he just doesn’t take anyones “BS”

During the press conference Coach Bruce Arians said AB is no longer on the team. Tom Brady had this to say:

“That’s a difficult situation. I think everybody should do what they can to help him in ways that he really needs it. We all love him, we care about him deeply. We want to see him be at his best, and unfortunately it won’t be with our team.” – Tom Brady
