Can I Kick It?, along with the timeless jammer “Bonita Applebaum” first appeared on People’s Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm, the debut album from the legends that are now known as A Tribe Called Quest. In honor of the album’s 25thanniversary, Sony Legacy is opening the vault for a reissue, completely remastered from the original tapes. Santos Party House will be hosting the anniversary/release party on November 14th, with music provided by all Tribe’s original members (Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, Phife, Jarobi), and other classic NY DJ’s.
