Kyrie Irving Traded To Dallas Mavericks

On Friday Brooklyn Nets guard Kyrie Irving requested a trade by this Thursdays trade deadline. After the Nets and Kyrie couldn’t agree on a 4 year contract extension rumored to be in the 50 per year/ 200 million price tag, the Nets decided to pull the trigger. The Nets traded Kyrie Irving and and Markieff Morris to the Mavericks for Dorian Finney-Smith, Spencer Dinwiddie, an unprotected 2029 first-round pick and second-round picks in 2027 and 2029. Teams that were trying to acquire Kyrie include The Lakers and Clippers.

Kyrie Irving is expected to make his Mavericks debut against the LA Clippers on Wednesday.
