Former president of the United States Donald Trump announced Tuesday at his Mar-a-Lago waterfront estate in Florida that he will be running for president in 2024. Attempting to become only the second president ever elected to two nonconsecutive terms.

Trump’s paperwork establishing his candidacy landed with the Federal Election Committee shortly before he delivered his announcement at Mar-a-Lago.
