Ex Police Officer Kim Potter Arrested And Charged For Traffic Stop Murder

20 year old Daunte Wright was driving with his girlfriend to his brothers house last Sunday when now “former” police officer Kim Potter mistook her taser for her service weapon and fatally shot him in a traffic stop.

Daunte was originally pulled over for driving with expired tags. So he called his mother to stay on the phone while he was being questioned. Officers then learned he had an outstanding warrant and attempted to handcuff him while he was standing outside his car. Kim attempted to handcuff Daunte, but he twisted his arm and got back into the car. The 26 year police vet yelled taser 3 times, but shot her gun instead killing Daunte.
