Last week instead of people spreading holiday cheer and not spreading COVID, a woman by the name of Miya Ponsetto assaulted a teenager over a phone she thought was hers. The scene happened last Saturday a day after Christmas at the Arlo Soho. A boutique hotel in SoHo area of NYC. Grammy award winning Jazz musician Keyon Harrold was with his 14 year old son Keyon Harrold Jr.

On their way to get some food. In the lobby waiting was Soho Karen or by her real name Miya Ponsetto. She seen the teen with his phone and accused him of stealing her phone. He has never seen her a day in her life. She also wasn’t staying in the in The hotel. The manager also took her side without even knowing all of the facts. She ultimately tackled the young man and the father was scratched in the process. Then stupidity kicked in. An Uber driver returned her phone minutes later after the ruckus. She didn’t use the find my phone app nor did she call the phone in front of the teen. The teen and father also had no reason to even stop and talk to the women. You can watch the video clip below.

It also turns out that Miya has had a few run ins with the law last year. On Feb. 28 she was arrested for public intoxication in Beverly Hills and is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 28. Three months later on May 28 she was docked for driving drunk and was charged with four misdemeanor counts — two for driving under the influence of alcohol, one for driving with a suspended license and one for unlawful use of a driver’s license. In September she pleaded not guilty and will receive sentencing at a hearing on Jan. 14. She was also named in a civil case involving an eviction for nonpayment in August 2019.
