Rest in Peace Nipsey Hussle

Nipsey Hussle left us on March 31,2019.

On Sunday March 31st Ermias Joseph Asghedom better known as Nipsey Hussle was shot and killed in front of his Marathon store. I normally do not post about artists when they pass away because I honestly don’t want to post things that are sad. This also hits close to home because I too lost an older brother to gun violence.

I remember when 2Pac passed and what 2Pac was trying to do. They wereboth about empowering black people. Nipsey took it a step further by investing in himself and then investing in his neighborhood. As i scrolled down instagram all you see is love he showed to rappers, his fans, his friends and most definitely his family.

What hurts me the most is he was getting ready to take over the rap game. After being nominated for a grammy for his first official album Victory lap. After dropping numerous mixtapes independently with different marketing plans. Who could ever forget Crenshaw for $100 and Mailbox Money for $1,000?

His memorial service is scheduled for 10 AM PST (1PM EST) at Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. His casket will be driven around LA for one last victory lap. It will also be streamed on Tidal and BET at 10 AM PST (1PM EST)as well.

To end this post i’m going to ask that everyone stream and buy all of his music. Especially his earlier works like Slauson Boy Vol.1 and 2. Bullets Aint Got No Names Vol. 1, 2, and 3. Crenshaw and Mailbox Money. Also Get a tee from the Marathon Store. Through us the marathon continues. #NIPSEYHUSSLE #RIPNIPSEYHUSSLE #NEIGHBORHOODNIP #ALLMONEYIN #THEMARATHONCONTINUES
